In 1988, after 6 years of working for a large chain of body shops in South Florida, Jeff Richey went into business on his own and opened Affordable Auto Painting & Body Repair.  Working in the auto industry since the age of 14, Jeff has learned what doesn’t work and what works well and has used this knowledge to open up a successful shop of this own.

Affordable Auto’s Goal

The goal at Affordable Auto Painting and Body Repair is to provide mid-range and inexpensive paint and body repair using name brand quality materials to customers, while employing quality minded employees, allowing for an overall positive experience.  In order to achieve this goal Affordable Auto Painting and Body Repair had to be designed in a certain way to make it possible to service vehicles effectively and efficiently.  Preparation for paint and all body repair is done at one end of the shop.  When the preparation is complete the car is driven into the paint booth for spraying, then is finished in the dust-free drying room.  Buying name brand paint and supplies in bulk at wholesale prices allows Affordable Auto Painting and Body Repair to remain true to its name, affordable.  The end result has been massive growth over a 28 year period, servicing over 2500 cars per year.

Our Family

Affordable Auto Painting and Body Repair is family owned and operated.  Most of the original staff is still employed today and have been part of the Affordable team in excess of 20 years.  Owner, Jeff Richey, Manager, Scotty Stewart and Assistant Manager, Blake Richey and team have the knowledge and experience necessary to handle any job.

We Care

Affordable Auto Painting and Body Repair also prides themselves on being a good community partner.  Including participating in local clubs, sponsoring car shows, providing monetary donations to Castle, VFW, Shriners Circus and the VA.  Owner, Jeff Richey also spent time as a big brother for the Big Brother Big Sister program for a 6 month period.
